WHY WE BEGAN
Because generic was never enough.
When I started looking for custom pieces for my newly adopted dog, I kept running into the same problem:
The process was often slow, uncertain, and full of back-and-forths.
And too often, “custom” still meant something based on a breed-like template — missing the things that made Basil Basil: his massive ears, his goofy little look, and the exact expression I knew by heart.
5 years passed, still no better solution.
So basil & friends was born.
