Shipping our First Friends Batch to the world
Our first custom batch is growing beyond Hong Kong — carefully, intentionally, and still in small numbers.
Hey everyone, Lance here from the tech and fulfillment side of basil & friends.
We started in Hong Kong with a small beta launch, and I've been working hard behind the scenes to make sure our systems, quality checks, and packaging are ready for a global journey. Today, I'm thrilled to announce we’re opening our First Friends Batch to selected international destinations, while keeping the experience close, careful, and gift-ready.
First Friends Batch — 200 custom orders only.
This helps us stay close to every order, check the full custom-making and fulfilment process, and learn carefully from our first friends before we open more widely.
What is the First Friends Batch?
The First Friends Batch is our first small custom order batch for basil & friends.
It is not a flash sale. It is our way of opening carefully: making each order with care, checking quality before shipment, and learning from the first friends helping us build b&f from the beginning.
Each order is custom-made, gift-ready, and created for the animal who lights up your life.

The Spotlight
A custom collar projector light made from your pet’s photo, casting their portrait and name onto the path ahead.
Made for evening walks, little rituals, and the one who lights up your life.
The Tee Time Set
A set of custom pet golf balls, made for golfers, weekend gifting, and the friend who deserves to be part of every game.

A note on custom-making time
Because our products are custom-made, shipping time is separate from production time.
Please allow around 3–4 business days for custom-making, production, and quality checks before your order ships.
Once your order is on the way, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email.
Why only selected destinations?
We’re still in our beta stage, which means we’re opening carefully instead of rushing everywhere at once.
This allows us to test the full experience — from customisation and production timing to packaging, delivery, customer support, and rescue pledge tracking.
We’d rather grow carefully and get the experience right than open too widely before we’re ready.
Don’t see your country yet? We’re planning to open more destinations gradually as we learn from this first batch.
Our rescue pledge
basil & friends began with Basil, our real rescue dog and first friend.
That is why every order also supports animals still waiting for their new beginning.
10% of net sales from every order goes to rescues — supporting meals, medical care, and new beginnings for the animals still waiting.
For this beta launch, our first rescue partner is Shenzhen Wholehearted Animal Rescue (深圳全心犬意小动物保护中心), the rescue Basil came from.
Net sales means product sales after discounts, excluding shipping, taxes, refunds, and chargebacks.
